Austin, TX – September 20, 2018 – Catapult is proud to announce the celebration of their 25th anniversary as a leading digital solutions and services firm throughout the U.S. and now globally. With a rapidly growing services portfolio, Catapult recently announced that it was expanding globally with the formation of Catapult Worldwide, opening an office in Mexico City, and adding resources in China, Malaysia, India, and Western Europe.
The company was founded in 1993 in Austin, Texas, by Sam Goodner, David Jacobson and Jim Martin as a boutique technology firm. Over 25 years the company has risen to become one of the most well-known, award-winning partners in the Microsoft ecosystem. With humble beginnings from the founder’s spare bedroom, Catapult has transformed from a traditional IT integrator into a cloud-first services provider with IP-led solutions, providing a broad range of expertise across the entire Microsoft stack. Its U.S. presence currently includes offices in Austin, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Phoenix, San Antonio, and Tampa.
To commemorate Catapult’s 25 years in business, the company is hosting celebratory parties in each of its U.S. offices in conjunction with their September company meetings. This celebration is an opportunity to recognize its employees’ longstanding commitment and dedication to serving customers, each other, and making Catapult an amazing place to work.
“Looking back, we’ve been able to evolve and adapt as the business landscape has changed and new technology surfaced,” said David Fuess, CEO of Catapult Systems. “Catapult has truly transformed into something great in the last 25 years. We’re constantly looking for new ways to drive both our customers’ digital transformations and Catapult’s own transformation as a digital business. Our success can be attributed not only to our ability to continuously innovate but also to the many forward-thinking Catapultians who’ve made our journey possible.” Fuess delivered this same message in the recent book Supreme Leadership by best-selling author Alinka Rutkowska, in which he attributed Catapult’s long-term success to hiring and retaining the most dedicated and talented employees.
