System Center 2012 Orchestrator allows you to target multiple computers at once through the use of computer groups. However, these computer groups only allow you to add computers to them manually. So what can you do if you want to create a dynamic group? One option is to use the Active Directory Integration Pack.
To do this you need to install and deploy the Active Directory Integration Pack. The download and install directions can be found on TechNet. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh553474.aspx
After installing and deploying the AD integration pack, you will have an Activities menu named Active Directory in the Runbook Designer. From this menu you can add the activity Get Computer to your runbook.
After adding Get Computer to your runbook right click on it and choose Properties.
In the Properties tab click on the ellipses […] next to Name and select your AD connection.
Then click on the Filters tab and click on Add to create a filter. From here you can create your query filter using properties such as Disabled, Location, Operating Systems, Name, etc.
For a complete list of all of the filters you can refer to the TechNet article. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh553465.aspx
