Austin, TX – January 28, 2014 – Catapult Systems, a leading Microsoft consulting firm and nationally managed Microsoft systems integrator, today announced the appointment of David Fuess as its Chief Executive Officer as of Friday, January 17, 2014. This new role comes as a promotion to Fuess from his previous title of President at Catapult Systems.
David brings 22 years of sales leadership and management experience, including 17 years of experience in the IT professional services industry. He has opened three U.S markets for Catapult Systems over the past 6 years including the Dallas, Denver and Phoenix while serving as Group Vice President. Prior to Catapult, David was the Dallas General Manager for Fujitsu Consulting/BORN Information Services and previous to Fujitsu, he served in the role of National Director of Sales for Avanade.
David’s priorities as CEO will include accelerating the growth and expansion of Catapult Systems as part of its recent merger with CSI by taking the Catapult Systems brand and business model to new U.S. markets as well as outside of the U.S. His goals as the new CEO are to deepen Catapult’s already strong relationship with Microsoft and refine Catapult’s business model as part of the combined company to provide a broader range and greater value of Microsoft services and solutions. The entire executive team at Catapult Systems will report directly to Fuess.

Catapult Systems’ former CEO, Sam Goodner will be moving into the role of Chairman for Catapult Systems as well as become a member of CSI’s Board of Directors.

“As Catapult’s President, David has done a wonderful job running the company this past year, and is both ready and well deserving of taking on the CEO role,” says Goodner.

David’s excitement and commitment to this role will serve as a continuation of both Catapult Systems’ and CSI’s plans for international growth and maintenance of quality in every aspect of business.
