After deciding to build their new intranets on Microsoft SharePoint, two Texas-based clients required assistance with the development. Microsoft presented Catapult Systems as a premiere digital marketing partner.

Catapult brought in its interactive design agency, Slingrock, to perform The Dozen, their proven methodology for optimizing website presence and engagement, for a county clerk’s office. The client was so impressed with the deliverables that they even had Slingrock design a t-shirt with the site’s new messaging for their entire staff, and are now engaging Catapult for the redesign of their public-facing website.

In Houston, Catapult and Slingrock pitched a global intranet project to an international law firm, but the client went with a lower-priced competitor instead. When problems began to surface, the client fired their original vendor and returned to Catapult for help. Slingrock performed a usability assessment of the competitor’s designs and found several issues, which they promptly addressed. Slingrock re-architected the site’s navigation for improved visibility, moved important functional items from below the fold to above, and constructed new wireframes and high-fidelity comps. Based on the success of the project, the client has engaged Slingrock for future email and video marketing campaigns, and is working with Catapult on the development of a new mobile app.
