At TechEd 2012 Veeam has just announced a great contribution to the OpsMgr community with their free OpsMgr reporting pack. This reporting pack provides a series of reports which extend the report library the Microsoft provides with OpsMgr. These reports include are:
- Veeam Alert Statistics Report: Shows the alerts statistics for given filter parameters. This report extends the functionality of the Alerts report available in the Microsoft Generic Report Library.
- Veeam Performance Details Report: Aggregates historical data and visualizes performance counter values on one or multiple charts and tables. This report extends the functionality of the Microsoft Performance Detail Report available in the Microsoft Generic Report Library.
- Veeam Generic Performance Top (Bottom) N Report: Aggregates historical performance data and shows top or bottom N infrastructure objects, instances or both for a specific performance counter rule. This report extends the functionality of the Microsoft Performance Top Instances and Performance Top Objects reports available in the Microsoft Generic Report Library.
- Veeam Performance Report: Aggregates historical data and visualizes performance counter values on one or multiple charts and tables.
I have been working with this management pack for a little bit now and have found a very cool feature to the Veeam Performance Details Report that I’m calling out specifically in the upcoming System Center Operations Manager 2012 Unleashed book (see the chapter on dashboards and reports!).
