Today Microsoft announced a new tool to help with integrating on-premises identities with Azure AD, Azure AD Connect. This tool is a way to get up and running with on-premises AD synchronization with Azure AD quickly. The tool will download and install pre-reqs like .Net Framework, Azure AD PowerShell Modules and Online Services Sign-in Assistant; download and install DirSync (later AAD Sync); Configure Password Sync or ADFS and validates everything is working.
In the blog post link above, Jen Field gives a detailed account of what the tool can do and screen shots of using the tool. Also she shows off some of the other features planned for this tool.
