Mike Albe is Chief Financial Officer and manages all accounting and finance functions for Catapult Systems. His responsibilities ensure efficient cash management, forecasting and cost analysis. In his role, Mike is focused on timely financials and collections from customers while maintaining and enhancing the customer relationship. He holds high priorities in developing complete and accurate GAAP financials while maintaining close relationships with our accounting firm and banking institution. Prior to joining Catapult, Mike worked five years for Coopers & Lybrand, now Pricewaterhouse Coopers, which is one of the Big 4 accounting firms worldwide. While there, he performed as a staff accountant in the audit division and was promoted into the senior accountant role leading audits of companies in the retail, manufacturing, financial, non-profit and governmental sectors of business.
Upon leaving, he became the Controller of an Austin based retail company with more than 40 locations in six states. For four years he managed all financial aspects of the business from inventory and cash management to internal control regulation and preparation of financial reports. He then became the Controller of a Dallas-based leasing company for a period of one year expanding his responsibilities to include all human resource duties.
Mike is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
