Company Achieves Record Seven Gold and 17 Silver Competencies; Team Recognized for Top Technical Expertise

AUSTIN, Texas – January 20, 2011 – Award-winning Microsoft IT consulting firm Catapult Systems today announced it was recognized by Microsoft as achieving a record seven gold and 17 silver competencies. To date fewer than five companies have achieved more than six gold competencies, placing Catapult in the top 0.05% of Microsoft partners worldwide. In addition, Microsoft named several Catapult consultants as “Most Valuable Professionals” (MVPs), a special designation given to the top Microsoft certified consultants from around the world.

“Catapult Systems has achieved the highest recognition possible among our partners worldwide,” said Deborah Ziegenhorn, Microsoft director U.S. partner readiness. “Its seven gold competencies combined with an impressive number of Microsoft MVPs, distinguishes Catapult as one of the top consultancies currently working with Microsoft.”

To date, Catapult has earned seven gold and 17 silver Microsoft competencies, a significant achievement. The Microsoft Partner Network has over 400,000 companies worldwide, yet fewer than 7% of those partners have achieved one or more competency.

Microsoft also recognized two Catapult consultants as Microsoft MVPs, bringing the total present number of MVPs on Catapult’s team to four. With fewer than 4,000 worldwide, Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group representing the best and brightest among Microsoft experts.

“Our Catapult consulting team is among the top Microsoft IT talent in the world,” said Sam Goodner
