Company Recognized for Its “Dream Machine,” Work/Life Balance, Charitable Endeavors and Other Employee Enrichment Practices

AUSTIN, Texas – June 10, 2011 – Catapult Systems, a Microsoft IT consulting firm, today announced it was recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal as the top place to work in central Texas. This is the second year in a row that Catapult Systems has ranked #1 in the “Best Places to Work” list in San Antonio, and it is the third time Catapult Systems has achieved “best place to work” recognition this year.

The San Antonio Business Journal noted several strong employee performance and recognition programs that made Catapult Systems their standout, including the “Dream Machine.” The Dream Machine is a Catapult Systems program designed to help employees fulfill a dream including supporting a start-up cupcake business, providing a special night out for military families, or helping employees with travel expenses in an emergency. Catapult Systems was also recognized for its commitment to work/life balance, new employee perks, ongoing training programs, and comprehensive benefits package.

“Thanks to our passionate and talented team of professionals, we’ve been recognized in several major cities throughout the country as a ‘Best Place to Work,’” said Sam Goodner, Catapult Systems CEO. “We’re honored to receive this award as statement to the positive culture that our employees have worked to foster throughout our growing organization.”

This past January, Texas Monthly Magazine named Catapult Systems the number one medium-sized company to work for in the State of Texas. In April, the Tampa Bay Business Journal also recognized Catapult Systems for a top honor in the region. In addition to this year’s best places to work awards, Catapult Systems has a long history of being recognized as a stellar workplace. In 2010, the company was named a “best place to work” five times in top cities, including Austin, San Antonio and Dallas, Texas; Tampa, Florida and Denver, Colorado.
