Syed Hasan is the General Manager of Operational Excellence at Catapult Systems. He is responsible for ensuring that the company has effective and efficient Operational practices in place while maintaining high quality of delivery services.
Syed brings 20 years of leadership and management experience in the technology industry. He was a member of the team that started the Catapult Dallas office, and helped in growing the Dallas office as Director of Service Delivery. Syed later served as General Manager for the Dallas office before taking on his current role as General Manager of Operational Excellence.
Syed has extensive background in managing consulting operations and, prior to Catapult, led Fujitsu’s Application Development Consulting Practice for Dallas. In this role, he was extensively involved in people management, mentoring and growing teams, architecting and designing enterprise class applications, process analysis and design, business strategy, and organizational change management.
Prior to Fujitsu, Syed spent 10 years in management positions for IT departments of various mid to large size organizations, leading technology initiatives ranging from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and custom development to Data Warehousing Solutions.
Syed has a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Computer Science from Wayne State University. He lives in Plano, Texas with his wife and two children, and his hobbies include playing cricket, running, and reading.
