Catapult Systems Named Runner Up to its Customer at Business Excellence Awards
AUSTIN, TX – September 5, 2001-- Catapult Systems, an Austin-based e-business software and professional services company, announced that it was named runner up for the Over the Top Customer Service Award for medium-sized businesses at the Austin Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
Adding an interesting twist, the winner of the customer service award for medium-sized businesses is Catapult’s own customer, DPR Construction. DPR Construction currently uses Inquisite®, Catapult’s electronic survey software, to survey customers during and after a project to ensure that they can make changes as they move through the construction process.
“Although we did not win the award, we can feel good about the fact that the winner is validating the use of Inquisite and ongoing surveys as a critical part of any customer satisfaction plan,” said Sam Goodner, Catapult’s CEO.
The winners were selected by six judges for extraordinary performance compared to others in their category. Each category also had divisions for small, medium and large businesses. Awards were presented by Chamber President Mark Hazelwood and Chamber Chair Susan Dawson at a black-tie banquet at the Renaissance Hotel.
“On the upside or the downturn, these are businesses that deliver legendary customer service, that demonstrate every day their effective collaborations in this community and that generate the truly innovative ideas that advance our economic vitality,” said Chamber Chair Susan Dawson. “These are the businesses that excel in Central Texas, and they are the businesses that make up the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.”
