Please join us for the April meeting on Wednesday, April 9th.

A core group of Austin companies has established this User Group as a forum for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server pros to share ideas and learning about this hot technology. Similar groups in Dallas and Houston have seen rapid growth and tremendous popularity, and we want to make this important resource available locally.

The Central Texas SharePoint User Group’s objectives are to:

• Build community around SharePoint and related technologies
• Cross-pollinate information and ideas on SharePoint
• Provide a forum for companies to share innovative programs and solutions based on and related to SharePoint

April 9th Program Description: Highlights from the SharePoint 2008 Conference

Since the release of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 one year ago, everyone from Microsoft product specialists to customers and partners to industry analysts have all accumulated a wealth of real life product and deployment experience, the 2008 SharePoint Conference was the forum in which these experts came together to share their knowledge! That’s why the SharePoint Conference 2008 was all about real world experience and guidance. The conference highlighted numerous new sessions on a wide range of topics that delivered new and exciting information to every attendee!

The local Austin technology community was able to send many people from clients to partners to your local Microsoft representatives to this event. Come join us on April 9th, as we hear from those who attended the Conference on lessons learned, tips & tricks, and a general overview of the conference highlights! We will have a open panel discussion in which each panel member will share their top lessons learned from the conference, and then will open the panel up to our SharePoint User Group members to ask the questions. Don’t miss this exciting meeting!
