Catapult Systems Launches Dallas Practice
AUSTIN, Texas – June 6, 2006 – Catapult Systems, a Texas-based information technology consulting firm, today announced that it has opened a Dallas office. The new practice will focus entirely on Microsoft-based service offerings including core infrastructure, enterprise application development, portals and collaboration, enterprise project management, enterprise integration services and enterprise mobility.
Catapult Systems has provided technology solutions to Texas companies for more than 13 years and has established practices in Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Tampa, Florida. "Our new Dallas practice is part of our regional expansion plan to better serve our Texas clients and to ensure that we continue to support our partnership with Microsoft,” said Sam Goodner, CEO of Catapult Systems. “Last year Microsoft consolidated into a single district covering all of Texas and the surrounding region. This provided an excellent opportunity to further develop and support our already strong partnership with Microsoft and created a natural fit for the creation of the Dallas practice. We are the only Microsoft Partner with operations in all four major Texas cities.”
Catapult’s new office is located in Las Colinas, centrally located to both downtown and Metroplex. David Fuess, Catapult’s general manager for Dallas, says that he is actively recruiting for the firm's growing needs and plans to hire more than 20 information technology professionals in the next 12 months.
"I’m bullish on the opportunity we have in Dallas as the demand for our services is already strong and growing within only a short period of opening the doors. After investing the past nine years of my professional career as a Microsoft Solution Provider in the DFW area, I believe our Microsoft, client, employee and alliance relationships will continue to build a successful business foundation for many years to come. Catapult Systems’ strong reputation for client and employee satisfaction, along with its unique company culture, will exceed the expectations of those we work with in the rightfully demanding DFW market. A world class provider who is locally based, competitive and financially secure is very attractive to the community," Fuess says.
Kevin Castillo, technology and solution sales director for Microsoft in Las Colinas states; “We were excited to hear the news that Catapult had decided to expand with a Dallas-based practice. Catapult has enjoyed great success in Central and Southern Texas. Our customers see them as a trusted business partner and we expect the same experience for our customers in Northern Texas.”
As the former General Manager for BORN Information Services in the DFW area, Fuess understands the local market well. "I would call it the beginning of a new, significant wave," Fuess says, referring to the demand for technology services based on the Microsoft Platform among locally-based companies. “I believe that more and more companies understand the business value Microsoft’s technologies provide as well as their competitive advantage. Our intent is to continue to deliver a high quality, fairly priced service to our clients and further demonstrate why the Microsoft Platform is a solid business investment for our clients.”
