Catapult Achieves Aggie 100 Award for 3rd Time
AUSTIN, Texas – November 3, 2008 – Catapult Systems,
a leading technology consulting firm and Microsoft National
System Integrator (NSI), announced today they placed 53rd
on the annual “Aggie 100” list of fastest-growing Aggie-owned or
managed businesses in the world. This year marks the third time Catapult has achieved this award.
To attain this honor Catapult competed against nearly 200 worldwide companies based on the percentage of their compound annual revenue growth from 2005 to 2007. Companies also had to be in business for at least five years and earn revenues of over $100,000. Collectively the recognized companies represented nearly $3 billion in revenue generated in 2007.
“We are proud to have achieved this recognition again,” said Sam Goodner, Catapult CEO. “As an Aggie I am honored to be a part of such an impressive group of companies and leaders.”
Sponsored by the Mays Business School, the Aggie 100 program recognizes former Texas A&M University students who have become successful entrepreneurs. The program was created to provide an opportunity for them to pass on lessons learned to the next generation of Aggie entrepreneurs.
“The former students representing these companies hold degrees from nearly every college within the University,” said Richard Scruggs, executive director of the Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship. “It is an impressive list. Catapult Systems is in good company.”
