Catapult Systems Captures “Second Best Company to Work for
in Texas” Title for the Second Time
AUSTIN, Texas – January 28, 2008 – Catapult Systems, a leading Microsoft consulting firm and nationally managed Microsoft Gold Certified partner, announced today that is has been named the second best medium-sized company to work for in the state of Texas. This year marks Catapult’s second win of this elite award.

The award, sponsored by Texas Monthly magazine, the Texas Association of Business and the Society for Human Resource Management – Texas State Council, was presented at a luncheon in Austin on January 25th. Keynote speaker Texas Governor Rick Perry congratulated the winners.
The Best Companies to Work for in Texas competition identified the state’s top 75 employers across using a selection process that included an overview of the company’s policies and an in-depth employee questionnaire.
“This win, coupled with our explosive year-over-year growth, demonstrates that, if you build empowerment into your company culture, you can create a profitable and enjoyable workplace,” said Sue Darrow, vice president of human resources, Catapult Systems. “We’re proud of this win, but are not resting on our laurels – we will continue to hone our approach by reaching out to employees to learn how we can further improve the Catapult environment for our employees.”
Catapult’s commitment to creating and maintaining a positive culture is documented in its Core Values and Rules of Empowerment; in its regular employee surveys to stay in sync with employees; and by limiting job-related employee travel, rare in the technology consulting industry.
Catapult was recognized in 2007 as the best medium-sized company to work for in Austin, 5th Largest Software Developer in Austin and a member of the exclusive Aggie 100.
