Catapult Systems Launches Denver Practice
AUSTIN, Texas – April 2, 2008 – Catapult Systems, a leading Microsoft consulting firm and nationally managed Microsoft Gold Certified partner, today announced it is opening its sixth office, this one in Denver, CO. This opening, which supports the company’s goals for further nationwide growth, is driven by customer wins and by its close relationship with Microsoft Inc.
The company expects to hire up to 30 full-time employees onto its Denver staff over the next 12 months, and has named David Fuess as the new practice’s general manager. Fuess has served as general manager of the company’s Dallas practice since that office’s launch in June 2006; in his tenure, he and his team have driven consistent gains in revenue and customer wins.
“Catapult Systems has proven itself a valuable partner in a number of markets across the southern States,” said Chris Sakalosky, South Central Area general manager, Microsoft Inc. “Catapult’s commitment to our customers, its expertise across a full range of Microsoft offerings, and its track record for delivering excellence should serve the company well, as it seeks to develop a strong, thriving presence in Denver.”
In addition, Doug Mosow, Partner Account Manager, Microsoft Inc., said, “We welcome Catapult Systems to Denver and Microsoft’s Rocky Mountain region. Its National Systems Integrator status is proof that the company truly understands our business model. And its depth and breadth of expertise from application development to core infrastructure means that Catapult has what it takes to help drive business growth for our customers in the area.”
Sam Goodner, Catapult Systems’ chief executive officer, is setting aggressive goals for the new Denver practice, and looks forward to helping a wide range of clients make the most of their Microsoft technology investment. “We are very fortunate to be so closely aligned with Microsoft in our existing markets. Our partnership with Microsoft is one of the key factors in our success and continued double-digit growth, so it’s important that we leverage this momentum into new markets,” said Goodner. “We are pleased to be in this position, which gives us the opportunity to serve our clients in the vital Rocky Mountain region.”
