Created in 1949, the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) is a voluntary, nonprofit, statewide educational association that serves and represents local Texas school districts.

TASB needed to replace one of its most widely used products, OPUS, which was based on software and technology that was no longer supported. The new system would be their first major implementation on the .NET platform and incorporated cutting-edge technologies.

Catapult assessed TASB’s application design and demonstrated how to use Microsoft SharePoint instead of custom development. Catapult also mentored TASB’s internal development team, providing best practices to develop a new development methodology.
