Custom Application Empowers Houston Police Pension System

Houston Police Officers Pension System (HPOPS)
Struggling with the limitations of an existing packaged benefits application system, the Houston Police Officers Pension System (HPOPS) needed a new solution that could provide the functionality and management tools necessary to efficiently serve their member base. Leveraging the .NET Framework and other Microsoft technologies, Catapult Systems developed and implemented a custom application that could:

  • Integrate previously external features and functionality, as well as other office systems/applications including the HPOPS phone system.
  • Provide centralized access to and a repository for all member/vendor information and transactions.
  • Increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of managing HPOPS member services.
  • Improve member service experience and provide self-service capabilities.
