Struggling with the limitations of an existing packaged benefits application system, the Houston Police Officers Pension System (HPOPS) needed a new solution that could provide the functionality and management tools necessary to efficiently serve their member base. Leveraging the .NET Framework and other Microsoft technologies, Catapult Systems developed and implemented a custom application that could:
- Integrate previously external features and functionality, as well as other office systems/applications including the HPOPS phone system.
- Provide centralized access to and a repository for all member/vendor information and transactions.
- Increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of managing HPOPS member services.
- Improve member service experience and provide self-service capabilities.
