Catapult Systems Gains Microsoft Marketing Excellence Award

Catapult Systems, a leading information technology consulting company and Microsoft National Systems Integrator (NSI), today announced they have been honored with Microsoft’s 2010 South Central Area Partner Marketing Excellence award. This award recognizes Microsoft partners who demonstrate significant results in developing event campaigns, driving demand and accomplishing ROI.

The marketing excellence award was based on a full-touch branded campaign Catapult developed to promote and educate people on Microsoft’s Windows 7 and its capabilities. Catapult used conventional direct and e-mail marketing to promote in-person events and webcasts, but also put into place a comprehensive social media marketing campaign leveraging Catapult employee participation and promotion on  LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and blogs. This word-of-mouth marketing significantly drove attendance numbers and overall interest, culminating in the creation of a Windows 7 sales pipeline of more than $5,000,000.00.
