(AUSTIN, Texas – October 31, 2008) Catapult Systems, a leading technology consulting firm and Microsoft National Systems Integrator (NSI), announced today that they are the recipient of Microsoft’s Q1 Marketing Excellence award. This award recognizes the Microsoft partner in the Southwest District who has demonstrated significant results in developing event campaigns, driving demand and accomplishing ROI.
“Microsoft is very excited to have Catapult Systems in the Denver market,” said Rocky Griggs, Partner Marketing Manager for Microsoft Southwest Area. “I am confident they will deliver tremendous value to our customers in Denver much like they have in other areas.”
As the basis of this award Catapult hosted a full-touch campaign around Microsoft’s virtualization platform utilizing awareness tactics that included email invitations, quick spots, live website call-outs, website marketing, call-downs, internal marketing to Microsoft, an in-person seminar and one-on-one follow-up lunch sessions. Catapult exceeded the registration goals by 200% and achieved a 130% attendance rate.
“Receiving this award is quite an honor,” said David Fuess, General Manager of Catapult’s Denver office. “To gain this recognition after only a few months in the Denver market speaks volumes about the quality and dedication of Catapult’s Sales and Marketing teams. We believe marketing the Catapult and Microsoft message is a key ingredient in our overall approach and will continue to place a high value on it.”
The Marketing Excellence award is the latest in a string of awards that Catapult has earned recently. Earlier this year, Catapult attained the prestigious Microsoft ACE award, given to only three Microsoft partners worldwide. Additionally, Catapult CEO Sam Goodner received Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year®, which recognizes individuals who excel at growing and sustaining market-leading businesses.
