(AUSTIN, July 15, 2009) – Catapult Systems, a Microsoft information technology (IT) consulting company, announced today that senior lead consultant Oleg Sych, Catapult Tampa, has been recognized as a Microsoft® Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Visual C#. This elite, annual award recognizes exceptional technical community leaders worldwide who actively share their real-world expertise with others
With fewer than 5,000 awardees worldwide, Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of experts representing technology's best and brightest who share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others. Recognized annually, each MVP must undergo a rigorous review process which evaluates their technical expertise, as well as the quality, quantity and impact level of their technical community contributions for the past year.
“As a recipient of this year’s Microsoft MVP award, Oleg joins an exceptional group of individuals from around the world who have demonstrated a willingness to reach out, share their technical expertise with others and help individuals maximize their use of technology,” said Richard Kaplan, Microsoft corporate vice president, Customer and Partner Advocacy. “By sharing their knowledge and experiences, and providing objective feedback, they help people solve problems and discover new capabilities every day. MVPs are technology’s best and brightest, and we are honored to welcome Oleg as one of them.”
Sych’s award marks the third time this year that Catapult consultants have achieved MVP status. Earlier this month, senior consultant David Morton (Catapult Houston) received MVP status in Visual C#. Also awarded was senior lead consultant Jason Sandys (Catapult San Antonio) in System Center Configuration Manager, Systems Administration; one of only 39 people to have attained MVP standing in this category. In February, managing consultant Cameron Fuller (Catapult Dallas) was recognized in Data Center Management, Systems Center Operations Manager, as was principal consultant Matthew McDermott (Catapult Austin) in Communications and Collaboration, SharePoint Server.
