(AUSTIN, Texas – November 20, 2009)
Catapult Systems, a
Microsoft information technology consulting firm, was named the third best small company to work for by the Denver Business Journal (DBJ) yesterday.
The DBJ 2009 Best Places to Work award honors the top 10 companies in three categories (small, medium and large) with the finest workplaces in the greater Denver metropolitan area. Winners are selected based on the results of confidential employee surveys that include topics like satisfaction with their current role, trust in senior leadership, team effectiveness and retention risk. Catapult’s survey results showed an overall satisfaction rating of 98%.
"We are very excited to be honored as the third best small company to work for in the Denver metropolitan area," said David Fuess, general manager of Catapult's Denver office. “Making the top of this list is a credit to all of our Denver employees who help us ensure we offer the best of work environments, teamwork and passion about what we do."
Catapult is consistently recognized as having a stellar workplace. In September Catapult garnered fourth place on the Dallas Business Journal’s 2009 Best Places to Work list, and in June, on the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2009 Best Places to Work list. In 2008 Catapult received second place in the “Best Companies to Work For” competition sponsored by Texas Monthly magazine, which was the second time Catapult had received that honor. Catapult also took first place in the 2007 “Best Places to Work” competition by the Austin Business Journal; also a second-time recognition.
