Catapult Tampa Recognized as Best Place to Work

Catapult Named Best Place to Work in Tampa Bay(AUSTIN, Texas – April 23, 2010)  Catapult Systems, a leading Microsoft IT consulting firm, was named a best small company to work for by the Tampa Bay Business Journal yesterday. Catapult was ranked fourth out of 21 companies in the business journal’s “nearly big” company category (10 to 25 employees). 

According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the Best Places to Work Award is focused on “honoring workplaces that develop strengths and foster career growth, have a culture of listening and recognition, and don’t take employee loyalty for granted.” Winners are selected based on the results of confidential employee surveys that include topics such as satisfaction with their current role, trust in senior leadership, team effectiveness and retention risk. Catapult’s survey results showed an overall satisfaction rating of nearly 98%, with 100% satisfaction in individual contribution, current role, and trust in senior leaders.

Catapult is consistently recognized as having a stellar workplace. Last year the company garnered third place on the Denver Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list and fourth place on the Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list, while also ranking  on the San Antonio Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list. In 2008 Catapult received second place in the “Best Companies to Work For” competition sponsored by Texas Monthly magazine, which was the second time Catapult had received that honor. Catapult also took first place in the 2007 “Best Places to Work” competition by the Austin Business Journal; also a second-time recognition.
