The Best Places to Work award honors companies with the finest workplaces in the greater San Antonio area. Winners were chosen based on the results of confidential surveys completed by employees who ranked topics such as trust with co-workers, manager effectiveness and satisfaction with current role. Forty-seven companies were honored as a best place to work from a field of 200 nominated companies. Of those Catapult placed first in the small business category with an overall satisfaction ranking of 98.4%.

"We are thrilled to be named the number one best place to work in San Antonio,” said Andrew Montz, general manager of Catapult’s San Antonio office. “Catapult offers a unique blend of a fun and challenging work environment, along with great clients. We are proud to recognize the contribution our employees make every day to create this blend while fostering an attitude that supports a culture of individual contribution and teamwork.”

This year’s San Antonio Business Journal Best Places award is a welcome addition to Catapult’s lengthy history of receiving recognition for a stellar workplace. In 2008 Catapult received second place in the “Best Companies to Work For” competition sponsored by Texas Monthly magazine, which was the second time Catapult had received that honor. Catapult also took first place in the 2007 “Best Places to Work” competition by the Austin Business Journal; also a second-time recognition.
