(AUSTIN, Texas, September 17, 2009) – Catapult Systems, a Microsoft information technology consulting firm, announced today their Dallas office was selected as one of the 2009 “Best Places to Work,” by the Dallas Business Journal.
The DBJ Best Places to Work Award honors companies with the finest workplaces in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Winners were chosen based on the results of confidential surveys completed by company employees on topics including satisfaction with their current role, trust in senior leadership and team effectiveness. More than 400 companies competed for this honor; Catapult ranked fourth out of 100 finalist companies in the small company category (10 to 99 North Texas employees) with an overall satisfaction rating of 98%.
“The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is filled with thousands of mid-sized businesses, so to be considered the fourth best place to work by the Dallas Business Journal is quite an honor,” said David Fuess, general manager of Catapult’s Dallas office. “This award is a credit to each and every one of our Dallas employees who we appreciate for recognizing Catapult as an organization offering challenging and creative work, diverse clients, and a supportive work environment.”
The Dallas Best Places to Work Award is a welcome addition to Catapult’s long history of receiving recognition for a stellar workplace. In June Catapult’s San Antonio’s office won fourth place in the San Antonio Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, small business category. Last year Catapult received second place in the “Best Companies to Work For” competition sponsored by Texas Monthly magazine, which was the second time Catapult had received that honor. Catapult also took first place in the 2007 “Best Places to Work” competition by the Austin Business Journal; also a second-time recognition.
