Catapult Systems Consultant Named Microsoft MVP

(AUSTIN TEXAS, July 19, 2010) – Catapult Systems, a leading Microsoft IT consulting firm, announced today that managing consultant Andrew Lavinsky (Catapult Houston) has been recognized as a Microsoft® Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Project (Training). This elite award recognizes exceptional technical community leaders worldwide who actively share their real-world expertise with others.

With fewer than 5,000 awardees worldwide, Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of experts representing technology's best and brightest, who share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others. Recognized annually, each MVP must undergo a rigorous review process which evaluates their technical expertise, as well as the quality, quantity and impact level of their technical community contributions for the past year.

“The Microsoft MVP Award recognizes exceptional technology community leaders worldwide who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with users and Microsoft,” said Richard Kaplan, Microsoft corporate vice president, Customer and Partner Advocacy. “By sharing their knowledge and experiences, and providing objective feedback, they help people solve problems and discover new capabilities every day. MVPs are technology’s best and brightest, and we are honored to welcome Andrew as one of them.”

Lavinsky joins the ranks of Catapult’s three other Microsoft MVP’s:  Oleg Sych (Visual C#), Cameron Fuller (System Center Operations Manager), and Jason Sandys (System Center Configuration Manager).
