Catapult Systems Makes Aggie 100 List Again

Catapult Systems Makes 2009 Aggie 100 List(AUSTIN, Texas – November 9, 2009) Catapult Systems, a leading Microsoft information technology consulting firm, announced today they were recognized on the 5th Annual Aggie 100 list, which honors the 100 fastest-growing worldwide companies owned or operated by former Texas A&M University students. This is the fourth year Catapult has made this list, achieving 22nd place (up from 53rd in 2008).

The 100 Aggie-owned or managed companies with the highest compound annual revenue growth from 2006 to 2008 were recognized at a formal luncheon at Texas A&M University on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. The Aggie 100 honors graduates from across disciplines and is a program of the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.

“It’s an honor to be recognized within such a group of distinctive and successful companies, said Sam Goodner, Catapult CEO. “Achieving a place on the Aggie 100 list, especially in this economy, is further validation that our company has continued to make good decisions and set ourselves apart from our competition.”

While there are many ways to define business success, the Aggie 100 focuses on growth as an indicator of job creation, product acceptance and entrepreneurial vision. “Texas A&M University and the Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship have built a tradition of pride among former students who have been named to the 2009 Aggie 100, as well as those who have made it any point in our history,” said Dr. Richard H. Lester, Executive Director of the Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship. “We are extremely proud to honor such fine businesses honored and even more proud that they speak to the legacy of the values Texas A&M instills in all of our students.”
